Overview:

Nidoqueen is generally considered Zak's "starter" Pokemon, since she was his very first and also proves to be his main powerhouse, tied with Scizor. Nidoqueen is also Zak's first Pokemon to be introduced in the story; battling valiantly against Knite's Charizard on Zak's home island.

Nidoqueen was caught as a Nidoran Female, evolving into a Nidorina through training and eating a Moon Stone which Zak had found, causing her to evolve into her final stage.
